Dr. Adeel Tariq

Dr. Adeel Tariq is a graduate of King Edward Medical University, Lahore, and completed his formal training in Emergency Medicine at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad, and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Ireland.
Currently serving as a Consultant in the Emergency Department at Shifa International Hospital, Dr. Tariq also holds dual leadership roles as the Director of Clinical Risk Management at the enterprise level of Shifa and Medical Director of the Shifa Ambulance Service — a technology-driven prehospital care initiative.
His professional passions revolve around resuscitation, traumatology, prehospital care, and leadership development within clinical teams. On the non-clinical front, he is particularly focused on equipping clinicians for modern-day medicolegal challenges, emphasizing the art and science of documentation and communication that truly defend both care and caregiver.
